  • Instructional Designer for Academic Success Initiatives

Jennifer Cooper (she/her) serves as the Instructional Designer on the Student Success Team. She is dedicated to fostering student success and enhancing educational experiences by leading the advising and professional development workstream. In her work, Jennifer spearheads initiatives aimed at enhancing holistic advising practices like the University’s Undergraduate Advising Committee and overseeing a comprehensive advisor training and development program, the Pitt Advising Certification and Training (ACT) Program. Her efforts are instrumental in guiding staff and faculty advisors toward professional success, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to thrive. 

Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in Education from Kent State University, and a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Youngstown State University. She is also a certified peer course reviewer.
